No New Iron Cove Bridge

What should be done?

Achieve the improvements in bus travel times the Government is seeking by implementing the following suggestions from the Victoria Road Community Committee:

  1. Enforce the T3 lanes. These are currently not enforced.
  2. Have multi-door entry on buses
  3. Initiate pre-pay in ALL buses
  4. Install P-TIPS - to allow buses more green light time at intersections
  5. Build bus bays
  6. Rationalise bus stops
  7. Improve the bus fleet
  8. Consider adding one additional lane to the existing Iron Cove Bridge
  9. Build the Metro to North West Sydney as originally announced
  10. Develop and implement a 21st century transport plan for Sydney
